HELLOs AND FAREWELLs

It’s a pleasure to welcome the owners and managers of:

• Buena Vista KOA (managers Marshall & Diana Spezman; the park was formerly a member through its previous owner)
• Fort Collins KOA Holiday (manager Lee Oliver)
• The Lodge at San Isabel (owners Doug & Jennifer Pollock, who have been members through their ownership of Aspen Acres Campground)
• The Pine Lodge (again, owners Doug & Jennifer Pollock, who have been members through their ownership of Aspen Acres Campground)
• We welcome Tim Hendon as the new owner of Gunnison Lakeside RV Park & Cabins, with managers Devin & Angie Wheeler. The park has a new name: Oasis RV Resort & Cottages Gunnison Lakeside. We wish Shawn & Wendy Rossman great joy and success with wherever the future takes them!
• We welcome Lauren and Wes Woolf and bid farewell to Cindi & Leonard Brown, over the sale of Aspen Ridge RV Park in South Fork.
• We welcome William Jacquot & Carlene Bradley as they prepare to open their brand new Rocky Mountain View RV Park in Greeley.
• Welcome to Paul Beauchemin and Mountain View RV Resort in Cañon City!
• We welcome Lucas Weismann and Lauren Ehlers as the new owners of Lone Duck Campground, in Cascade.

Simultaneously, we bid farewell to Steve & Lisa Mack. Their family is one of CCLOA’s founding members. We are thankful for their unending 53-year dedication to CCLOA! Where we would be without people like them!?!?

• We welcome Robert Miller, Sonia Vides, and Fernando Lozada. Robert owns Riverwood Inn & RV Park in Delta. They have plans to develop more of their 30 acres, which runs alongside the Gunnison River and includes 7 lakes.
• Pete LaBarre joined his Mesa Campground and his Meadows of San Juan RV Resort. Some may remember him from when he was a member a few years ago with an earlier RV park.

INDUSTRY & CONSUMER NEWS STORIES

The May edition of the industry publication Woodalls Campground Management contains a story that features Estes Park KOA‘s Greg Query.

This June 23rd post by WCM introduces us to the new district managers of The Jenkin’s Group. Barry Graff now monitors their park in Colorado, KOA Colorado Springs, as well as their parks in TX and MS. We welcome him to his new role!

We were happy to see this article by the USA Today. Yes, we had a part to play in getting Winding River Resort on this list. Our Camp Colorado marketing often has a far reach.
